I woke up at 5am every day for 30 days — honest results
Not a motivational post. Just what actually happened. The first week was brutal — I was useless by 3pm and went to bed at 9pm like a child. Week 2 got easier. By week 3 I genuinely started to enjoy the quiet morning hours before the world woke up. What I used the time for: reading, exercise, and thinking without interruption. Did it change my life? Not dramatically. Did it give me back 2 hours a day that I used to waste scrolling? Yes. Would I recommend it? Only if you actually go to bed earlier. Waking up at 5am while sleeping at midnight is just sleep deprivation with a productivity label.

Honest question — do you think the benefits came from waking up early specifically, or just from having protected time with no interruptions? I get the same effect by staying up an hour after everyone else goes to sleep. Curious if the time of day actually matters
